Dedicated to funding research and outreach that drives innovative policy solutions in ocean sustainability, Blue Convergence Fund supports grants, provides outreach & engagement, and develops communities of practice on topics identified by the needs of coastal communities, managers, stakeholders and rights holders.
Blue Convergence Fund strives to develop innovative and equitable solutions to complex issues and challenges in marine conservation and sustainability. We do this through grantmaking and community engagement, funding transdisciplinary projects structured around the needs of coastal communities and the ecosystems they depend on. Our work is predicated on the belief that the most actionable ideas emerge when diverse minds come together around sound knowledge.
The Fund is rooted in the 20 years of experience and success of the Lenfest Ocean Program, which has been a leader in supporting co-designed, co-produced research combined with strategic outreach and engagement.
